Fresh bread, great coffee, and delicious Muesli and jams were just part of the morning meal. The staff was kind, polite, and very helpful with information about the area. The room was small/quaint, but very clean and well decorated. The hotel sits directly across from Lake Maggiore and the pier from where people can catch the boat to cruise the lake. There are several great restaurants a short walk from the hotel that are lakefront, and the Piazza is a five minute walk away. The hotel is charming and the staff are very helpful. A nice bonus when checking in was receiving a pass for everyone to get a discount on public transport, and the funicular train. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the centre, and at the lake front. As a result almost everything (like bars, restaurants, and boat dock) is within a short walking distance.
