Our last trip to Vietnam was 3 days and 2 nights on the elite of the sea. We just wanted to relax on the boat, so we chose this elite of the sea, the most expensive and newest of the many cruising plans. We chose this cruising plan because we wanted to have a memorable time and to be free from stress. DANIEL (we called him by his Vietnamese name NAM) was in charge of us and assisted us throughout the cruise. NAM, who had been in Nagasaki, Japan, could speak a little Japanese and was a kind young man with a very polite and beautiful smile. We asked NAM to take care of everything. When we returned to the ship, NAM greeted us and made us feel at home, and the Vietnamese coffee he specially made for us was delicious and made the start of our day even more special. We also took part in some of the activities on our honeymoon. We were taken kayak and to a private beach. For outside activities, Harry, the customer service representative, attends to all the passengers. His cheerful, friendly, customer-first high level of hospitality was excellent and very educated, as was NAM.They are both very professional and friendly and high hospitality. Halong Bay had more trash than I expected and smelled in some places. But the scenery was amazing and the atmosphere was warm and wonderful as we became friends with the Colombian, Norwegian and Vietnamese couples we had the good fortune to board with for three days. There are many cruises out there, but I don't think you will find a cruise with better facilities, better service, and a more stress-free experience than the elite of the sea. I highly recommend this trip!!!!! Thank you Nam for the best time!!!!!! We will miss you very much!!!

I’ve done this same cruise twice now. All the staff (Martin, Dat…) are exceptional. Food is very good, the boat is clean, rooms are lovely, excursions are fun. I wouldn’t change anything about the cruise and I highly recommend doing 2 days 3 nights with nostalgia.

Beautiful new boat. Very clean. Would recommend to get the upper cabins rather then main deck for more privacy.

They really looked after all of the people on board, and helped us arrange our journey at the end of the trip. We had great food, lovely trips off the boat and really enjoyed our 2 day 1 night cruise. It does follow the same route as most boats, so you will be around lots of people when you do the trip into the cave and titop island, but I think that’s hard to avoid unless you do a tour to one of the other bays. We really enjoyed the short kayaking opportunity where we saw some monkeys.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, the excursions were well-planned, and the food was delicious. The boat itself was very clean and to a good standard, and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend doing a 2 night cruise rather than 1 so that you can properly enjoy the boat and the views.
