With daily departures, the two houseboats are each equipped with a dining area, bar and hot tub. Certain cabins on Shayamanzi Houseboats have large glass sliding doors which provide viewing opportunities of the Lebombo Mountains and the wildlife of the Pongola Game Reserve, while the interior cabins feature porthole windows.

The view was breathtaking, i loved it and the fresh air especially in the evening. The room was clean and neat. The stuff was friendly and helpful and even offered to take me pictures on a boat cruise as i was traveling alone.

My bestie and I even joked that it looked like we were in Thailand from our pictures. We could not have a chosen a better place to Kickstart the new year. So breathtakingly beautiful and serene. You feel so one with nature. The staff was also generally pleasant and very respectful. The boat cruise is a must! I'll certainly go back in future.
