The hotel has fantastic decor - it is not of modern style, but it has character which is what we like from a city break hotel. Dumon chocolates upon arrival and a free drink each was appreciated. The continental breakfast was lovely and there were lots of pastry options. The local canal boat trip was right outside the back of the hotel, which was really handy. The overall location was absolutely perfect. Staff are really polite and helpful. Everywhere smelled fantastic and was really clean.

Very conveniently located near the train station and at the top of a shopping street, this recently renovated hotel is a great place to stay in Ostend. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms facing the main road have great views of the yacht harbour.

The location is excellent, great value for money and very comfortable. We didn't need to interact with the staff at all as we had breakfast/lunch outside of the hotel. The split-level room in the roof was very cool, we loved it. Other things to recommend: do a boat tour for €15, see Michaelangelo's statue in the cathedral and visit Oda rooftop bar (it's around the corner from this hotel)

I'm not easily impressed and satisfied with hotels. I always find beds uncomfortable or room too noisy etc but I absolutely loved this hotel. Beautiful view of the canal and the boats. Elegant and warm decorations. Lovely, friendly staff, the room was very big and loved my bed. Everything was great. Definitely recommend and will return if I'm ever in Bruges again. PS: please don't change the mattress type. It's brilliant! 😃

The location was amazing! The view from our canal facing room was awesome. I loved just sitting in the window and watching the tour boats and horse and carriages go by. The staff was also amazing! They were so friendly and helpful even on Christmas Day! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else if we revisit Bruges.

It was a great stay. Efficient check in. Friendly staff. Nice room. Good breakfast, buffet style 7.30-9.30. Location was very suited to visiting Bruges (10 minute drive or a bus 5 minutes walk). Room was clean. We are a family of 5 with children under 10 and found it ideal. It felt well run and organized. We would stay again if in the area. Nice common room area with table football. Quiet time after 22.00. Right on the canal. The kids enjoyed watching the bridge go up for the boats.

Best place to stay in Bruges. The hotel is in prime location to the postcard photo spot and less than 2mins walk from the main square. It’s so close that you can pop back to the hotel after shopping and for a pit stop instead of searching for public loos. The hotel room was exceptional. Super comfortable chairs to sit by the window and enjoy watching the boats go by, spacious, has a great bath to warm up in after a cold winter walk. At Christmas the hotel was so well decorated, it felt like a cosy Manor House.

Beautiful place, well furnished with great equipment etc. Shops nearby and a short walk inside the city walls of the old town. Would definitely recommend a boat trip. Superb place to stay for a visit to this lively place.

Convenient on journey Calais to Germany. Near E40 just a few kms off . Quiet location. Small water park with water slide, boats etc small beach. An Okay close by. Bar open til midnight
