The property was in a good location for our visit to Falkirk to pick up our canal boat

Breathtaking views, very family friendly. The log cabin is very clean and comfortable. Good Wi-Fi connection, powerful shower. There are lots to do in the area. Children love the play area on the site. The lake is beautiful, shallow water near the beach and we really enjoyed the rolling boat, saw ospreys catch fish.

The location was perfect for exploring the local area and dipping in to the highlands. You can do lots of walks from here (we enjoyed Bracklin Falls) and you can use it as a base to venture further away. We went over to Inveraray and Loch Lomond one day and Stirling and Falkirk another day, a ride on the boat at the Falkirk wheel is a must! The hosts Jan and Gordon are very welcoming and the breakfasts are delicious!

Rob and his friend were so helpful to us on arrival. Also happy to help with advice for our ongoing trip and explaining boat times and train details.Even advice on the local beers available for sale. Explained clearly the facilities, showed us to our room. This was so lovely and clean and comfortable, and nice adjoining shower/toilet area. It was a perfect appt for the WHW walk
