The view from the room - could have spent hours just watching training taking place on the lifeboats.

Perfect location with free parking at the hotel. Friendly, professional staff. Hotel and room exceptionally clean. Delicious breakfast, with lots of choice, and a lovely view of the sea and boats.

Overall our visit went well despite the appalling weather. The bar area upstairs was particularly good and the staff excellent. Parking excellent, too. I like the fact that it is a ‘working’ hotel connected with the lifeboats that I previously had a connection with as a journalist. The room cleaner was very helpful, too.

What an excellent concept. A charity training centre where surplus rooms are let out to the benefit of the charity and visitors. The property is maintained immaculately, with very friendly and helpful staff. The bedrooms are configured to give views of the inner harbour, where one can watch lifeboat staff under training. A small car park provides secure parking.

Modern, Spotlessly Clean, Warm. Very interesting to see all the RNLI boats on the water. Great views from the rooms and restaurants. Lovely, cosy bar area. Fabulous breakfast in the Rigger Restaurant. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional

Amazing breakfast and great hotel. Everything was clean and well though of. Right by the waters end with amazing views out over the water and lifeboats. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The college is an amazing place, so well thought through. The branding is incredible, lifeboats everywhere. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms have been carefully thought through. Breakfast, so much choice and delicious. And then there is the view from all rooms, restaurant and bar. Well worth staying for the tour on Monday or the lifeboat building centre.
