A beautiful location in a gorgeous boat. Hosts were great and the communication clear and really helpful. The beds were comfy and the boat was clean and well maintained. We loved how the accommodation was unusual and something different. It was incredibly quiet and private.... Perfect for a romantic get away.

Great idea, relaxing on the boat, we really enjoyed it. Perfect for a weekend away in a quiet peaceful place. The boat was warm, lots of different little things you need, you only need to take food, if you like barbecue there is everything for that. Thank you for your idea for creating such an opportunity for a holiday on the boat.

The boat was very cosy with a beautiful log burner. We had visits from the ducks and greedy swans ,lol! Welcome with cakes and prosecco!

Absolutely amazing time away at this beautiful boat. The bed was super comfy, kitchen had everything you could need and the location absolutely perfect. We had an amazing autumnal stay with beautiful weather to be able to sit and watch the tide come and go. Perfect location walking distance to pubs shops and the promenade. Absolutely want to come back and stay again as the hosts were fantastic and the stay was even better. Thanks Cate and Lucy for having us we look forward to coming back in the new year xx

Reception were really helpful. We were able to arrange check in early as we were heading straight to London. It’s such a great location for getting to London, but still able to relax when you get back. Lovely hot tub too. We enjoyed a drink at the Boathouse.

this is a unique experience for any one who has never lived on a boat. The house boat is very comfortable and cosy for two. Every thing is catered for heating for the cold , fans for the heat even a log fire stocked with logs and coal. All cooking facilities you need microwave, induction hob kettle toaster.fridge Hot water via electric immersion tank. Great marina environment and views. Warm welcome from Teresa the owner who explained how every worked, clear instructions also to hand, Tea coffee etc

Discretely tucked away next to the Yacht Haven marina The Ferry Boat was an excellent choice for our overnight on the Crouch River. The property has been beautifully renovated. The room and everywhere else was fresh and spotlessly clean. The shower was great. Breakfast was magnificent. Plentiful and delicious. Staff were always engaging, delightfully polite and eager to be helpful.
