Complete wow factor, managed to keep it a surprise for my wife's birthday, she couldn't believe it when I jumped on the boat. Location was perfect, in the heart of everything but also felt totally safe and alone (obviously normal city noise)

Warm when the heaters came on. Excellent balcony overlooking the boats on the canal. There was a lovely walk along the river from the property into town. Very comfy beds.. 2 bathrooms and good showers. Be aware that the 3 bed room is also the kitchen/living room. We did not try the TV.

Hi I am very upset with yourself with this service we booked for a double room when we got there they said there is no double beds available so we said we'd like to cancel both they said no we have one boat there was two of us and we had a three quarter bed this is not what we paid for I would appreciate it if you could look into this as I paid full money and didn't get what I paid for

There is nothing not to like about the Boat and Horses from the staff being just amazing and the food was excellent with the best steak and ale pie I have had in a long time.

I liked every courteous, helpful, attentive, happy and smiling members of both the hotel and restaurant teams which made me feel that I would return to this thoroughly well run and more than decent establishment again. Well done the Boat and Horses!

It was a tiny room. .I've had bigger boat cabins.! I just needed sleep, so please my room out back, & not front on busy main road.. Off road parking if your early..
