Zack was an amazing host. Very informative, gave us loads of ideas and information on locals areas and things to do. Great private bathroom, aircon & fan. Free and endless coffee, tea, and filtered water. Fridge and gas cooking facilities in outdoor courtyard. We loved the location. Away from the busy city, nestled in a very friendly suburban area but literally a 5 min walk to boat across the river (2 RMY!) to the hustle and bustle of Kuching centre. Less than 15 RYM Grab from the airport (roughly $5 AUD for 30 min ride!)

Very good for the price compared to other hostels around. We spotted as much as the other boats of richer people.

The Spacious room, the temperature of the room was just right as i was recovering from a bad flu, i dint feel like the room was too cold... Definately the comfort of the bed and pillows and duvet made us extend our stay another night.... we had a very good night sleep.. The morning view of the river was very calming yet looking at the activities of the boats moving along allowed for a early morning conversation.

Feels like a hidden gem and private paradise. Great dive shop with charismatic guides, nice boat, sufficient equipment. Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

*The free morning boat ride to the Floating Market was an excellent amenity. *The staff was helpful and friendly. *Nice swimming pool. *Good value at the price point.

John is expert guide, we enjoyed boat tours. Location is very close to the river, boat pear and small shop. Room itself is very basic, but with AC and hot water.

We like the private pool, sea view with few minutes distance to the beach front, spacious for family gathering. Staff also very polite and helpful to follow up answering request. Kids like the pool very much. Good place to have BBQ and steamboat to kill the night.

Was all good until the staff all decided to take a shower together laughing and joking @10.30 pm and then running through the resort doing the same we were in a dorm next to the toilets and showers trying to sleep! Then someone was being sick for ages! Didn’t sleep until gone 2 am had to wake at 5.30am for boat cruise

Affordable but comfortable place, very near to the river. I was sick (nothing to do with the property), and staff insisted on checking up on me regularly. Boat tours are great, and several times per day, and you only pay for those you choose to go on. Saw fantastic wildlife.
