We loved it! The place is authentic, well taken care of, located in the centre of the village and comfortable to reach. The rooms were perfectly equipped and in traditional style. The lady that welcomed us was very friendly, helpful and was a brilliant company. Kovachevitsa is a magical place, one of a kind, we will definitely be coming back and staying in the Bazoteva House again. 10/10, I recommend and already miss it! ❤️

The village and guest house were amazing. The view from the comfortable communal balcony was just amazingly beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfy. The building is old and in the authentic style, but with a modern bathroom, and lovely art work on the walls depicting local scenes. We were able to store some food we brought with us in a refrigerator. We parked our car on the main village road and walked up. We got lost and confused, but I messaged through booking.com and the woman who is the host came and found us and showed us the way. It was our fault as we do not speak Bulgarian, and did not recognize the name of the guest house on signs because it was in cryllic. If you come, it is helpful to note the cryllic spelling of the place and you will find it easily. Our host did not speak English, but was helpful with our questions. She provided us with extra pillows which made the bed more comfortable for me. Breakfast was nice and very filling, and served in their dining room with a fireplace. We had a nice stay in this unique historic village and highly recommend it.

All the furniture are from local wood and feel very authentic, the beds were quite comfortable and the view from the window was amazing. Location is excellent and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. They shared with us the history of the village and the house. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, made by the hosts with love and care. We tried several of their handmade berry’s jams and fruity refreshments along with the traditional yoghurt and cheeses. Overall, we had an amazing experience and time at Kanush Voivoda house, and Kovachevitsa!

We loved our time there, the room was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The bathroom was lovely, spacious and witha shower separation so that water would not go everywhere. The woman who works there (also in the restaurant) is super kind and friendly! She made a very tasty breakfast for us and we also had dinner there - everything was perfect! This place is a real gem!
