That everything was available onsite free of charge. Kayaks, paddleboards, snorkel gear, lifejackets, coconut husk even insect repellent, sunscreen, fresh bread, butter, milk all the condiments. The beds were very comfortable, the location was the best view and so close to everything. Kept immaculately clean everyday with the grounds, pool, rubbish cleared every morning. Well done team!!

The location is amazing… Steps away from a convenience store, delicious restaurant, and the best coffee and pastries on the island! The view from our villa was the absolute best part of our stay! We spent a lot of our time just lounging on our deck, watching the waves come in, and enjoying the ocean breeze! Rudy and Kanoe are exceptional hosts, and they made us feel right at home! The grounds are beautifully kept, and Kanoe’s artwork throughout the property makes it so extremely special! We loved our time at Tropical Sands, and would highly recommend it to anyone else coming to Rarotonga! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Apartment is very spacious, big living room, batch and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. One twin and one matrimonial bedroom, the matrimonial one with a great view and balcony. Yes, it is a little run down and it may need a refreshing but everything was in good working order and mattress quality and sheets were great. Fully functional kitchen with all the utensils, spices, dish soap, etc. Great pool as the beach in front is not swimmable, too many rocks. Great use of kayaks to go to the motu just in front where the beach is just lovely. Staff very very kind and professional. A rental car is very recommended, 5 minutes drive to Muri lagoon and 10 minutes to town (Avarua). Would for sure come again, highly recommended.
