Such a good surprise ! Sincerely this hotel has 4 stars level rooms ! The social area is in a middle of a mini jungle very pretty. Convenient kitchen , barbecue. The beautiful swimming pool is large enough to swim and to relax . This is a quiet place and the owners will respect your privacy. I m very picky , and I really love this place. The price (about 100US$) is the good one compare to the price of many terrible hostels of the island.

1. Our flight was delayed, but the host still come to pick us up on time with hostility. 2. How a Lovely cabin! There’s one queen size bed, one well-equipped kitchen and one bathroom. All we need is here. 3. Some small stores are nearby so that we can buy food, fruits, vegetables that everything we need. 20mins walking distance to the seaside, it’s ok because you will pass a church and some art stores. Quiet and safe. Easy to check in/ out. 5. Very nice and patient host as well as his family. They do the laundry for us everyday. We got small gifts and bless from them;) We feels very like at home. It’s better than I expected!!

I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Uruhao. The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

The breakfast is nice and the location is super, just 5 minutes by foot to the mainstreet and 10 minutes by foot from the airport. Quite streets. The value for the money paid was fair. Bike rentals nearby. Take a bike to get around or walk, everything is nearby in the village. You won't need a car except for the faraway beaches. We did those by bike too though, just 18 km, a beautiful 1 hour ride.

A little outside the village, made it an quiet accomodation. The house cosist of three rooms. Diningroom and kitchen. Here is all you need to do easy cooking. Bathroom is nice and practical. Sleepingroom with very comfortable bed. The hostess, Moana, was very friendly and helpful at all times during our stay. Rain ponchos, umbrella, beach towels, toiletries etc. The breakfast was plentiful with, fresh eggs cooked to order by the wonderful Paula, to go with a range of homemade cake, cheeses, meat, fruit, toasts, cereals and yoghurt. It is the cleanest place we have ever stayed and the service from Paula was superb.
