Irma the host is exceptional. She is very friendly, kind, considerate and helpful. She made us feel very comfortable from the moment we met her. I intend to come back and stay here in the future. I slept so soundly that I almost missed the delicious breakfast she prepared for us. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is considering a long term stay in Riobamba, especially since her husband offers tours to incredible places that are off the beaten path. In other words, those places that are not on tourist guides.

However, they were nice enough to leave me a key box and detailed instructions on how to get in. The hostel is super clean and pretty (especially for how affordable it is). I really love how spacious the room is (I stayed in a 5-bed dorm). In the morning, they helped me plan my trip to Chimborazo and called a taxi. I would've missed the morning bus to Chimborazo without their help. I would highly recommend Villa Bonita to anyone traveling here. Thank you!

Vanessa is very friendly and helpful, she was happy to give us tips on things to do around, and helped us booked our tour. Good location, short drive to the bus terminal. The place is beautiful, kept super clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of showers with hot water, and nice patio to meet other people. The bedroom was very comfy and there were lots of great facilities （games room, kitchen, multiple bathrooms). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt very at home. The staff even prepared a delicious takeaway breakfast for us because we had a 5am start for our hike! This was very thoughhtful and kind. The hostel also felt very clean. They spoke good english, which was very nice since I don’t speak spanish. When it was time for me to go, the hosts called a taxi for me, walked me out to the taxi, and insured that the driver knew exactly where to take me and verified the price.
