The roof terrace and hot tub hadn't been cleaned to the shock of the host but the following morning someone was there to clean it and they did a good job. If we had any issues, the staff would sort it out straight away. We received a daily breakfast of croissants, butter, jam and coffee pods which was lovely as this was not expected. The master bedroom was large, the bed was huge and very comfortable.

The location is good if you like being at the beach all the time. I would say that for my kind of a traveller, the town Platja D'aro is boring, so you have to get a car and drive around these amazing rocky beaches and tiny hilltop villages and middle age towns of Costa Brava.
