Great cottage in the middle of the forest. Perfect spot to spend a few nights with friends and explore the Ivalo and Inari area. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the living room is cozy and the bedrooms are comfortable. Bed linen and towels are provided. We had an issue with the sauna and the host was very responsive and made her best to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Highly recommend!

What a great and cozy place to stay! We just loved everything about it! The location: easy to reach by rental car from Ivalo, yet totally surrounded by forest with a stunning lake view through large panoramic windows facing West. The interior: the welcoming atmosphere with christmas/winter decoration, very comfortable beds, the sauna and rain showers, the fully and stylishly equipped kitchen, the exterior with snow shoes and fat bikes for free use, and last but definitely not least: the very helpful and prompt communication with Jarkko & Hannika. We spent nearly a week in freezing winter wonderland with Northern Lights and the most beautiful weather. What a great start of 2024! This place is definitely a 11/10.

Location: 300 meters from the bus station, close to many outdoor activities companies, supermarket is right across the road, close to the Ivalo river. Apartment: just perfect, with everything you might need for longer stays as well, a super comfortable sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. Check-in: very smooth and we arrived during holiday (owners were not there). Owners: very kind and available since the day we booked, they also helped us managing one of our outdoor activity with a local company.

Petteri welcomed us very well in Ivalo. The apartment is very clean, modern and functional (all we need is there). We were able to have several experiences thanks to Petteri: snowmobile, reindeer farm, traditional meals and see the northern lights! We couldn’t see aurora, but we enjoyed looking stars while lying down on the bed. A lady at reception was very helpful for finding activities to attend for us, she also arranged take away breakfast for our early checking-out. There is a forest path on the property. The offered activities (we did Huskey tour and snow mobile tour) were well organized and really exciting! The food is just great and you can flexibly have lunch. The village offers several kind of equipment - from cross country skies to snow overalls, all free of charge.

The presentation of the food is just awesome. The Aurora Village team was very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to come to Lapland, this place is a must to stay for one night.
