This was an excellent stay. We were staying the night before an early Heathrow flight. It may look unpromising, but once in, you realise it’s perfect. Comfortable. Great fridge and freezer. Great internet. Comfortable sitting room, good shower, great delivery food options nearby, and a lovely bedroom. No complaints at all!

I had a great two night stay at the apartment. When you travel a lot for business its nice to be able to go somewhere to relax rather than staying in the usual hotel chains. It is spacious with a large lounge and kitchen area, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and I was able to do all my own cooking, watch the huge TV and relax with a nice cup of tea. The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay and is a short walk (approx. 10 mins) to major supermarkets. It has its own small garage (main parking space) big enough for a car or small van of similar size to a Vauxhall Combo. If you need to go to Basingstoke for work or to visit relatives and want an alternative to big brand hotels then the apartment would be perfect for you!

We have rent a small apartment at the No 10 Short Stay and we were two adults and one kids. Linzi did an upgrade for free to a bigger apartment with two bedrooms, two baths, an open space with living room and kitchen. The apartment was amazing, very nice, clean and in a strategic position, very near to the town centre and Festival Place shopping centre. Next time we'll come to Basingstoke, we will rent the same apartment. Very recommended!

As for the pub and grill, the food was good but it took too longer for food to get to the table. The manager who was working over the weekend was absolutely fantastic! She made sure to check on every group in the restaurant and when I asked if someone could fill up my water bottle, she did it herself, even adding ice, lemon and mint. Located in beautiful Hampshire countryside, this elegant Hotel, was relaxing but with an excellent dining experience. The Hotel team were polite and efficient, the Glasshouse restaurant has an excellent menu range, cooked to a fantastic quality. Pretty walks, and the nearby village of Overton gives you an interesting range of independent shops to browse in. I would highly recommend Oakley Hall Hotel.
