We stayed in one of the Stable Cottages. Our Stable Cottage was the ideal retreat. It was in an idyllic location very close to the beach. It was extremely quiet and peaceful down a country lane. Nigel's detailed instructions made it easy to find the cottage. The cottage was very well equipped and lacked nothing in the way of facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable.There were plenty of towels provided. We liked the wet room instead of a traditional bathroom. The milk and eggs left in the fridge for us were a nice touch. Nigel was a very attentive host and keen to make sure all his guests were happy. We felt welcome.

Barbara did some changes in the room setup which I didn't ask for ahead - many thanks! The attitude, the breakfast - just like being a guest of the family. It's also a short walking distance from the center and the Cowes Yacht Haven. A very comfortable and clean room, with a very nice shower and bathroom outside the room (but still private).

Fantastic hosts. Breakfast was excellent. Great location. Beautiful garden which also looks amazing at night, lit up by fairy lights. We booked Ward Avenue because of the excellent reviews and absolutely agree with them.

I arrived early on the ferry and was able to access the lovely home early, and they extended the same flexibility when I was leaving. Ricky could not have been more responsive and supportive! The breakfasts were delicious; the honesty bar was well stocked and in a gorgeous Victorian room full of sailing memorabilia, and the staff really could not have been more helpful and welcoming. I can't recommend highly enough and I really hope to return one day!
