The decor, the location, the friendliness of Doug and Clementine, the switch off from our busy lives. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed quality time with our teenage daughter. We were given some lovely freshly laid eggs from their chickens. Our puppy was welcome (£25 fee). Really recommend a stay here.

The apartment is situated in a quiet, rural village with great walking country all around it. There's a really nice country pub about a 10min drive away or about 30-40 mins walk along the canal. Doug and Clementine were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The service (very friendly, Mary's "Good morning!" at breakfast made my day...), the rooms, the food. Situated in a charming small, pittoresque and neat village with very friendly inhabitans. Dinner was also delicious. You would not assume to get such a good meal in the middle of nowhere. Great breakfast. We left (unfortunately had to leave) with very happy faces on the next day and will come back, hopefully, some time.
