We had the warmest of welcomes on arrival by Richard, the host. Littlebank is a beautiful old house surrounded by wonderful scenery. Richard cooked us a good breakfast, plenty of choice. We only wish we had been there for more than one night.

Lovely cosy house. Everything we needed and more. Space for the two of us (two good friends) who had come to the area for the three peaks. Quiet neighbourhood and parking available too. The house was just a few strides away from a local footpath along the river into Settle and had a small back garden with views of the riverside and (when the leaves drop from the trees) the fells. The host was really lovely and made contact with lots of information.

After long journey when we open door , greet us warm cosy house. It was clean, smell nice . Everything we need was there, kitchen,bathroom, bedroom fully equipment. Comfy beds, cosy livingroom. Parking opposite the house. Everything was perfect. The surroundings was so beautifull, got charm, stunning views. Especially night sky, full of stars that you cannot see in big town or city. It was short stay and we regret that we have to come back.

Although situated on a main road no noise in the bar or rooms. Ample parking to rear of pub. Very friendly and helpful staff and locals, it has the feel of a village local rather than a hotel. The ladies who did breakfasts were lovely. Nice walks around the village as well as the hiking routes. All freshly cooked pub style meals and the veg were so tasty.
