Also a good base for travelling the area around, we did Stirling, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs easily by car. Local village is picturesque and pleasant.

There is a village shop directly opposite the property and a great pub/restaurant within walking distance. If you enjoy walking there are lovely walks within the vicinity. The rooms of the property were all lovely and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed our stay. There is parking available at the property too.

Only a 10/20 minute walk from the centre. A very informative book with instructions and tips. Nice little abbey ruin round the corner to explore. And walking into the city over the bridge is very picturesque .
