A very nice holiday home next to a beautiful monumental house. The accommodation is stylishly furnished and also clean. A well-functioning electrical system for the skylights. Fine well-functioning shower. The hostess is very nice and helpful. The location is ideally central for trips to Bath and the Cotswold. The accommodation is very quiet ago with no traffic noise, planes or trains and next to a pretty little church. The price is a bit higher than other stays, but the comfort, hygiene and location make the price worth it. The host is a friendly woman.

Beautiful and idyllic cottage in a lovely location but beware of very narrow lanes! It was a perfect little hideaway and we enjoyed the patio for drinks when we arrived in the sunshine. On wetter days it was a cosy bolt hole. Plenty of attractions nearby and great for us as we have family in Stroud. The pub down the lane is lovely but gets very busy. We will return for sure.

The pub itself is a lovely old stone-built establishment with a more modern (but very sympathetic) annexe conversion. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, and the village and surrounding countryside provide a wonderful setting. The local bus route is a real bonus, connecting the Star to destinations further afield.
