We’ve lived for 5 weeks in Skafonas Apartments and we loved it for many reasons: - the hosts are a caring and friendly corfiot family, always ensuring we were fine. They cleaned our apartment every three days and took care of the gardens every day. - the 2 terraces where we could eat our meals and work while sun bathing. - we worked remotely from here (brought our own desk and equipment) and the wifi works well. - the bathrooms are recently renovated and the shower is fantastic. - we found the location was perfect, but it’s essential to have a car or love hiking. The closest village of Pelekas offers and amazing panoramic view of the island. In 20 min you can get to the east side of the island and Corfu town and it’s in the middle to easily visit the north and south of the island.

We enjoyed our stay here, it was quiet and we had a nice terrace and everything we needed. Pelekas vilage is close, 25 min walk up hill. Beach is close, 5 min walk down hill. The only mini market is 1 min away. Nice view, sandy beach, no stones on it, no waves, perfect for small children. Any questions, the owner will guide you. His name is George, and by far was the best host we meet so far. I don't like to write reviews, but this man deserve it. Thank you!

She even drove us to a restaurant before the kitchen closed on our first night there, which not many people would do. The villa has a great view and is quite conveniently located. Pelekas, Glyfada beach, and Mirtiotissa beach are all a 30 minute walk from the property, so you can traverse easily enough by foot. The private pool is a good size and the garden is lovely with several seating options.
