Was a unique experience being able to spend a couple nights in an old (historic?) cottage. Wifi is available only in close proximity to the homeowner adjacent. Very, very private and quiet.

The location was absolutely idyllic, truly sublime. Tranquil, beautiful, rich greenery with stunning stone walls, the whole place was pristine, with a lovely, relaxing feel about it. Thomas,the host, made us feel extremely welcome, he was fantastic. A credit to you Thomas and a huge THANK YOU 🤣🤣🤣 The only improvement could be a separate toilet, this wasn’t an issue during our stay as it was very quiet, but if it was busy it may pose an issue. Hot water would have been a bonus.

Beautiful surrounding scenery, Fabulous breakfast. Lovely lounge area with tea and coffee facilities. Very quiet surrounds which means you have to drive to a nearby village for an evening meal ( around 10 minutes) but not an issue and there are some good restaurants( Waterside was particularly good) and pubs in Graiguenamangh. In summary, a very pleasing place to stay.

Doesn't serve dinner late into the evening though so need to plan ahead for evening meals. Located beside the river which is a hive of activity during the summer when we were there. The village itself is set in a beautiful valley alongside the river and Brandon Hill.
