Everything. It was a bright, spacious and quiet retreat from city life, yet not far from Galway city. The house was furnished and equipped to a high standard and was spotless. We especially liked the conservatory dining area with views of Galway bay. Siobhan was great to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were just a couple, but the house could easily accommodate a family or up to 3 couples traveling together. Highly recommend the Uplands.

Beautiful House with a great vibe! We loved the simple, but modern & stylish design, it was well equipped with everything you could need, the communication with the owners was super nice - definitely would book it again! Great place also to explore Galway and Connemara! And the kids loved the lawn in the back to play and how close it was to walk to a beach!

A lovely walk at the back of the hotel along the sea to the pier and the other direction to a brilliant craft village. Also good bus connection to the ferry to Inis Mor island which is beautiful

It's about a twenty minute walk to a lovely beach and a futher 5mins to the village, but the views as you walk are magnificent so you won't notice the distance.
