We just arrived from Europe and the house has a special historical Indian majesty. Inner court yards, a giant swing in the library and a natural pool all nestled inside lush green gardens. Our beautifully renovated room had a fan and air conditioning, window shutters giving garden views and a quiet hideaway for a long sleep to recover from the jet lag. We were so warmly welcomed here and feel like we arrived home already. Shinoj and his family have treated us like are one of their family and we are leaving full hearted. Also, fully fed with a selection of freshly home cooked meals with fresh milk and eggs from the cows and chickens on the land, coconut milk, herbs and vegetables straight from the garden.

Excellent hosts always accessible for any help. Well maintained and clean property. Good breakfast served in the room. Very safe, private and quiet surroundings. A little inside from the main road but we had no issues as we had a car and driver. Very well equipped and furnished rooms, kitchen and living halls. Highly recommended.

I liked everything about this small guesthouse. To start off, Aparna is the best hostess you could ever ask for. A very warm, welcoming and funny lady. I feel we became friends by the end of my week stay. Next, you basically have a private huge beach a short nice walk away which was a treasure. Then there is the delicious cooking. Each morning I got to try some very Kerela authentic breakfast items, which I greatly enjoyed. I specifically came to see the Thayyam ( Google it, they are super unique and cool to this region of Kerela) and Aparna - was able to arrange a great driver/guide to bring me to see them. You can also see black pepper, cinnamon, curry, tamarind, mangoes, pineapples and jack fruit all growing on the property! Ivory Coaste is the perfect place to relax and decompress. Especially if you’ve been traveling a long while like I had been doing. Also, there was a great mix of guests from around the world, so it was great exchanging stories with them. All in all, my time spent here was one of the highlights from my 2 months in India!

Gave us directions to get filtered water to save plastic. The beautiful beach was only a short walk away as was the village. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Bunch of shops lay more restaurants everything you need. Very clean place surroundings are very green. Next day here take a providers delicious South Indian breakfast. My family and I had a very comfortable stay for the very reasonable price with air condition room with attached bathroom ,clean linens. Definitely we recommend this place to any travelers.

Good place to stay with family . Quiet and very clean rooms. Perfect location for people coming from the city . If you like to stay in city and crowd with disgusting smell then it's not the place for you . I wonder why people are trying to get stay for free and leaving low rating for this amazing stay.
