This is a good 2 BHK property, couple of minutes drive from Colva beach. Has a very nice and well maintained garden and pool. Rooms were clean, Property host are welcoming, helpful and provided support for the things we required during our stay.

I feel very lucky to have found Villa Barbosa. The host, Reuben, is outstanding. One of those hosts who were born to do the job. Every guest is the beneficiary of a warm welcome and an irrepressible desire to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The accommodation is in an annexe to the colonial family home, a property that several generations of the family have occupied for close to 400 years. It is a beautiful property housed in its own gated garden & grounds, many old colonial features are well preserved. A bottomless supply of filtered water is available on every floor, each room has a/c, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Some rooms have a view of the gardens/road and some a view of an internal courtyard. Bed linen and towels are regularly changed, rooms regularly cleaned. There is plenty of parking space in the courtyard. The property is only 5-10 minutes walk from good local restaurants and a sedate 10-15 minute walk along countryside roads to the wide, empty, sandy Sernabatim beach with beach huts for refreshments and free (just buy a drink/food) sun loungers. Great location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and cannot praise Reuben highly enough for his friendly, efficient hospitality.

The staff: Naresh, Numa, Kumari, Pavitra, Tila were very attentive, courteous and polite. They treated us like family and catered to every request we had. Pools were always clean and they would clean it again upon our request. They made great homely food and took great care of us. Our kids had a great time with the adults and the kids at the property alike. We will stay here again and would like to recommend this place to all those visiting South Goa.

Everything you wish they try the best to make it come true. Reuben is really nice, open-minded, he always present and really really helpful. After two days it already feels like home. I wanna see as much as possible during my stay in India. Otherwise I would have stayed longer in the Villa Barbosa.
