The house is absolutely beautiful! We arrived in the evening and had a beautiful view over the nearby lake and the "sundown" (which takes hours in the summertime of Iceland). The house is very well equipped and designed with love. The owner is very nice and responded very quickly to our questions. Definitely recommend!!!

Guests have use of a shared living room, full kitchen, full bathroom, and washer/dryer, in addition to their bedroom. The kitchen and living room were particularly well appointed, and the living room (and some of the bedrooms) have large windows looking out at the fjord--really gorgeous views! It was lovely to relax in the living room and look out on the sparkling sea. The owner is super friendly and showed us where to find things. Our twin room was very comfortable, albeit a bit small, but we could hang out in the living room and kitchen, so the size didn't really matter. The beds were very comfortable, and included two pillows instead of the standard one pillow.

Just perfect. Imagine having a long and exciting day in iceland and a warm hot tub+cold beer is waiting for you. The hut is very clean and contains everything that you need. Stay at least 2 nights, better 3 or 4, you wont regret it. There is much to explore. Our WiFi didnt work, at one moring and the owner fixed it right away, thumps up for that.

Initially we got lost, but Hendrik navigated us here. He was so helpful. We arrived to a perfect cottage in a beautiful setting with everything we needed. It was super clean and perfect. The hot tub was already warm for us to jump in from a long day of sightseeing. We didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend this place because it is so relaxing and restful. You can hear the birds from the stream.

Delightful cottage in a beautiful, quiet and wild area of Iceland. We encountered some car trouble during our stay and our host Benedikt went above and beyond to help us, we are very thankful. Great hosts and great place, clean and luminous with everything you might need for a few days stay. The hot tub was also great and we got to enjoy some remarkable northern lights from it! Would definitely book again and recommend.
