They show you for arrival how to get from the high, upper street (where the train station and supermarket are) down to the street on the beach using the city's elevator. We visited 4 of the Cinque Terre villages and we think that it would be better to stay in Camogli, or Rapallo if you want a larger town (because of too many tourists in the small Cinque Terre villages).

Valentina was a warm, bubbly and very helpful owner/host. We spoke with her in Italian but believe she speaks reasonable English.
