It was my wife’s birthday, and they made it an amazing special day for us. Filippo and his father were very helpful, and Manuella cooked delicious breakfast for us; her cakes were wonderful. The cleaner lady helped us carry our bags on checkout day. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and we travel a lot :) Thank you, Villa Platamone; the memories will stay with us forever.

The decoration is a bit vintage and reflects the preferences of owner so in that sense it is not modern, but it is part of its charm. The staff was very responsible. Everything we needed was provided in the bedroom too, with a big comfy bed and nice linens. The family owners were charming and gave us good advice about visiting the lakeside villages.
