La Posta del Guardiano is a lovely B&B on the outskirts of Vieste, sitting above the town up a steep hill, so not really walkable, though only 4 mins by car. The front of the B&B has a spacious terrace looking out over the Gargano, where you can sit at any time but especially when eating the generous breakfast provided. The host, Marco, was very friendly and helpful with advice about good restaurants. The room was very clean, modern and well equipped, with USB sockets by the bed, an excellent walk-in shower, and a private terrace. The bed was really comfortable - it had an Emma mattress - so we slept very well here, given the general comfort and the peaceful surroundings. It was nice being greeted by the two friendly spaniels when we came and went at our leisure.

The surroundings around the villa and the location of our apartment next to the main courtyard with a nice view from the terrace. It was a beautiful stay. Shame I don't speak Italian. Worth emphasising: the package (09/2022) consits of a voucher for entry to The Busola Beach ( 2 prs) and parking permit (limited but useful area). Holiday homes well equipped and clean.
