This is an EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT ryokan. We stayed in a villa that had a private onsen bath, heated floors, manicured Japanese garden and all amenities. The meals were excellent. The staff was great. This is truly a first class ryokan that I would highly recommend to everyone.

Very kind and smiling receptionist. A spacious room, comfy futon, with a wonderful view on the valley. Everything was very clean and calm. You can visit Amanoiwato Shrine by foot, its entrance is like 200-400 meters from the guest house and you can even see one of the torii doors from the window. It's better to come by car so you can visit Takachiho nearby.

The view from our room was breathtaking - we arrived on a rainy day, the mountains were misty and foggy in a beautiful way. It's close to the Shrine and a supermarket, very convenient.
