The property is new and it’s like a home to yourself. The host, Masae-San is kind, friendly and caring. She responded to our messages very quickly. She prepared coffee jelly for us as a welcome treat which was really thoughtful under the heat of summer. The amenities are nicely provided and maintained. During our stay, breakfasts were freshly made on site every morning by Masae-San. We could park our car just right outside the house away from the road side. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, and there are historic shrines nearby in case we wanted to go for a morning walk. Restaurants are not hard to find and if you have any questions, Masae-San is always happy to help. I will definitely stay at Komaian again the next time I visit Tokushima!

Everything was extremely clean and simply perfect. Ken is the best host you can find. His house is totally fully equipped. All sort of things you need there are inside the flat. The flat is extremely quiet and peaceful No issue for finding him and no problems for the keys He replies fastly to email and to phone calls and HE SPEAKS ENGLISH :) Super suggested!!!!!

This house was really amazing! This being our second time to Japan and we’ve stayed in a few traditional style places before. The house was really set up for a family but very luxurious and spacious for two people. It has everything for a really comfortable stay with a fully functioning kitchen and the bed on the first floor was so comfortable! We only had 1 night here and wanted to stay way longer! It was a lock box entry, which is super handy if you are driving. The next morning we met with the host Yoriko, who welcomed us with a huge hug! Our hire car battery died, so we were able to use the e-bikes to ride to the car hire office. Yoriko even stayed back to help the car hire man charge the battery from her own car. It was a 15min into the city or a quick e-bike ride!

Nice, very clean and close to the centre. The key handover, check in and check out were not done in person, but there was an easy to understand explanatory video in English, so getting there was no problem. In the well-equipped kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a meal or breakfast yourself. All in all, good value for money.
