The hotel arranged for transportation from the airport, which was a delightful short boat ride and felt very VIP. Staff was very professional, helpful and above all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel grounds feel like a little quiet oasis, so if you don't feel like doing much you can just spend the morning at the pool.

Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!

He helped arrange our transfers from and to the airport, ensured there was staff throughout to assist with anything we needed assisted with planning our activities, helped us find a good chef. The staff were polite and helpful. The villa itself is beautiful. What you see is what you get! Very spacious, well furnished. The AC was working well.

It is a beautiful house, with spacious and cleans rooms, enough privacy, a top balcony which has an amazing view of the village and the sand dunes. The people who run it (Jack and Joseph) are wonderful, kind, and reliable people. You cannot ask for a better place for the cost. I loved the breakfast too. I was sad to leave and would recommend it to everyone. It felt like a home !ZahraYoung couple
