One of the closest guesthouses to speedboat. Quick check in after long day on boat. Owner made sandwich next day for slow boat Owns bakery opposite, went in and had breakfast to support local businesses. Room had everything I needed for one night. Good value. Quiet.

Stunning views from the balcony while having dinner and breakfast. Food was home cooked, traditional and absolutely delicious. Room was comfortable, cool and just what was required for a stopover on the slow boat. Pickup and dropoff for the pier was amazing. Only shame is I didn't know how lovely the area would be and wish I could have stayed a little longer.

Nice family and very clean room for a night crashing over from the slow boat was just perfect! They will send you a tuk tuk directly at your arrival this service is included. if you ask they will prepare sandwiches for the day after because is going to be another 8 hours to reach the next destination ( around 6 pm ) the boat claim 4 pm but is not true.

Stayed for one night during the 2 day slow boat to Luang Prabang. Perfect location as it’s a 2 min walk from the pier no need for taxi. Room was really nice and clean, A/C worked well. Made us the most amazing breakfast sandwich the next morning to take onto the boat with us

The owner helped us booking the van from pak beng to luang Prabang. Super nice, helpful and with a great attitude. The location is really comfi and close to the pier. Clean, our room with air con perfectly working. The breakfast was amazing.

Gorgeous, huge hotel with comfortable bed and nice room with aircon, spacious balcony area, good wifi, was perfect after the slow boat to relax and recharge. Owner picks up from pier too!

The dining/breakfast area over looks the mekong. Really can't fault it and a great price. The lady was so nice and you can order sma sandwich three for the next day. The village is pretty small but that's fine as you are only there for 1 night.

I met a ton of other travellers that were also on the boat and that I ended up going to Luang Prabang with. The beds were comfy and there's a nice riverside terrace with great views. It's good to know that Mekong Backpacker Villa and this is basically the same, just two different rooms but it's run by the same people and the terrace is shared.

We knew about the night bar before we book it, so we were prepared for it. So if you dont mind the music until late hours is perfect accommodation with exceptional breakfast (bufet style). A fantastic little village and such a warm welcome they all gave us in the dark. The room itself was basic but so reasonably priced - my only comment particularly to the negative was the rusty bathroom lock which I cut my finger quite badly on. Otherwise, no complaints- happy to have a bed and such a warm welcome in the middle of the dark river valley!

Stay more than one night so you can fully enjoy the Pool and soak up the beautiful nature around the Hotel. It's not just a Hotel, there's much more behind the scenes. Read about the Hotel on their website. I had an inspiring conversation with the owner, Mr. Ket , who is a great person. I absolutely recommend this beautiful place!

Only a short walk into the village if you want to get dinner.

They close late in the evening and start again early in the morning servicing customers. Our staff was great. They took us back to the boat early and we beat the crowd.
