Amazing clean home stay located in a peaceful village nearby a lake. Run by some really kind staff who are extremely accommodating! They are able to provide everything you need and cook tasty meals upon request. Also have options to see wild elephants, visit local village, or go on a boat ride. I injured my knee before arriving and they also took me to see a special Ayurvedic doctor. Would absolutely stay again!

I loved it. It actually costs more to use the Aircon but I didn't need it, even though it was the hottest time of year and I nap at noon. The hotel is surrounded by a Garden, which keeps it cool. The hosts take an enormous amount of care to make their guests are treated well and feel happy. On arrival we were greated with a pot of tea and advice about the area, where to eat and an offer to visit the famous cliff Buddha statues at Buduruwagala. Which are definitely worth the tuktuk trip. Water is always on tap. The Sri Lankan breakfast for 2 cooked by mama host would have been enough for 4. Wonderful! The place is a green oasis in the town centre. Even the shower water was cold from the hills towards Ella.
