There are no shopping facilities, only a cpl very small shops for snacks and water etc. You need to make contact with the owner Udea to help arrange tspt or you hire a car. The rooms are comfortable and are right on the waters edge. Udea is a Dive Master so will take you out snorkelling etc if asked His mother makes all meals which are of local food. There are no credit card facilities so you need to bring cash It is typical village life, so chill out and enjoy it

This place is in a beautiful coastal village is out of the way, which is great! 15 minute drive to kudat, 20 minutes from the tip of borneo. The accommodation is simple, but for the price it's great. The host, Jair, is incredibly helpful and can arrange for meals cooked in the homestay for 15rm each.

Hidden away this was an absolute gem of a place - total luxury in a quote location back from the beach (only 2 min walk). Plenty of space for family of 5, large Ned rooms with fan and AC, clean bathrooms, well appointed kitchen and of course the pool - magical. The on-site team of staff were very attentive, each morning breakfast was prepared for us to order, whilst the pool was cleaned and the garden racked and tidied - couldn’t fault the service.

Also very tasty food like lunch and dinner provided (for extra money) The owner Jumaidi was always helpful. He is very friendly. He also helped us to arrange transport to Kinabalu park and he also solved our issue with next hop accommodation we had. I can only recommend if you prefer the homestays on the places like this instead of hotel or luxury residence.

His younger sister is an excellent cook and the meals were always different. Walks on the beach are nice, nice shells everywhere. The people in the village are very kind. There is peace and quiet.
