There were great views from the villa and it was nice being out side the main town of Lillehammer. The road up to the property was steep but was cleared by a tractor when it snowed, and we had 4-wheel drive so no problems there. The fridge was well stocked with food items for breakfast. The host was very easy to contact and responded very promptly to any enquiries. The social spaces in the house are excellent - plenty of room for everyone to sit in comfort. There were lots of 'extras' provided eg TV apps, digital games, regular games.

We really enjoyed our time here! The house is situated in a quiet area, overlooking the lake - nevertheless there is a bus station and a supermarket in only 3 minutes walking distance. The house has a lot of history, we would have loved to read the history also in English, but we understood some aspects from the pictures and with Google Translate. The kitchen is so well equipped! We cooked every meal of our 10 day stay in this kitchen. Hege put on the warm blankets for us, which was very kind. We had a great time in Vingnes!

Although small, it was very comfortable and good value for the price! The shower was excellent and the view out the window was very nice (I imagine it would be even better in sunnier weather than we experienced). Even though it's on a lower level, we barely heard the family upstairs. It's not far from the Olympic Park and central areas of Lillehammer.

Very cosy area. Very cosy, spacious and warm cabin. The cabin is so well insulated that you may not need to use the fireplace, though the fireplace makes the time spent in the cabin even more charming. Sauna and jacuzzi are included in payment. Sauna is very hot. Kitchen is equppied with everything you may need (even with microwave!). There are some board games. Note that the road conditions in winter can be such that you need to put chains on tires to drive up to the cabin.

Perfectly located right next to the piste, with a network of tracks going short and longer distances. Small village shop with just about enough to get you through the week, although Kiwi in Susjoen is only a 35 min ski away, or a great run down to Lillehammer with a bus back. Apartment is warm, great views and facilities. Fairly basic compared to many UK similar apartments, but the sauna is a nice touch.

The vacation house was just a 15 minute walk from the central station/centrum of Lillehammer. The room was big and the bed was nice. It was also possible for us to leave our stuff longer in the guesthouse after checkout, since there were no other visitors coming. Conclusion: it was everything we needed for our night in Lillehammer.
