A perfect place to stay. Our host Lokraj went out of his way to make us feel welcome like family. Attending directly to all of our needs be it tours,taxis, cycle hire or cultural performances it gave us a memorable experience of Sauraha and the Chitwan region. Just far enough from the hustle but close to town and surrounded by locals going about daily life. With the host’s favourite response of “no problem “ you can’t go wrong.

The owner was very nice and picked me up from the bus station when I arrived and same on my departure, which was very nice. Also the owner was very helpful with the activities and helped organising all jungle activities. The rhino came to the field right outside the hotel which was amazing! Beforehand, the owner took us in his car to go and see it as it started walking in the village:) it was a very nice stay:) amazing location for rhino :)

The lodge was simple as in a rural village. The host family was really good in terms of immediately providing attention and for meals. The tour safari was good having been able to see spotted deer, rhinos, crocodiles and a variety of birds.

The hosts took us on a safari which was outstanding. Absolutely don’t be put off by the fact this properly is away from the centre of Chitwan - we trekked to a a secret waterfall, had the most beautiful private safari and explored the local village, away from tourists. Our best place yet to visit! Thank you so for all your warmth, guidance, care, exceptional knowledge of the area/animals and hospitality too - we will be back!
