There is rubble around so be careful when walking or coming back at night. But how’s Younis is always happy to help and will fetch you anything even brought me breakfast from the local restaurant and got me a car for my travels to Ayubia and tourist attractions. The villa is decently maintained. A tourist gets all the basic necessities. Availability of hot water (I traveled at the end of December) was very good and the central heating was working very well indeed. The resident caretaker and his family were very helpful. The weather was harsh but they made every effort possible to keep us comfortable.
