Wonderful and simply place with amazing view to the mountains and the ocean from windows and terrace. Grill zone was very useful for us. I found some comments about very steep road. I rented D cattegory car (VW T-Rock) and we didn't have any problems. And also our neighbours was arrived with very small car like Fiat Panda etc. So everything was fine and mountains and the ocean view + grill zone redeems the steep road. Highly recommended. The price is very competitive

Perfect stay! The whatsapp contact with the owners was very smooth and helpful. Property was extremely clean and covid-safe. The pool is extremely quiet and kept very clean. It's shared with a few other guests but never feels cramped. The beds are comfy and the fans in the bedrooms are very powerful. There is plenty of balcony space for breakfasts and dinners outside. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking pans, cutlery, glasses and plates etc. We recommend you hire a car for your stay, and you can park in the secure gated area outside of your apartment.

It's not often that you don't want to leave at all on the last day :) A very spacious house, with various and different spaces to choose from for rest, work, breakfast, lunch, dinner, barbecue... A great place to spend the evening and night after an active walk on the levadas, as well as to sip espresso while admiring the sea view after a swim in the pool early morning. I look forward to returning for a rest or for a workation

The location of the villa is wonderful. It is located close to some great levada walks and right below the villa is the quaint town of ponto do sol where there is a swimming location, great restaurants/bars. The villa is well equipped and comfortable for cooking, all appliances are new and modern, everything functions very well, the views can't be beat and are seen in every room. The beds are comfy and there are ample bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms and one half bath.The size of the pool is spectacular and not only that, it is saltwater and its heated! Parking is convenient and private for the property with a locked gate. There was four of us but the house can accommodate more than 1 family easily. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back hopefully soon.

Worth mentioning is a very comfortable bed in the main bedroom (as this was often an issue in other holiday homes I rented in the past). Parking on a very quiet street just outside the house. I highly recommend this place, but you should have a car as it is quite far from the "city".

Facilities, utensils etc in the kitchen , were plentiful. There literally is nothing you would wish for. The big bowl of fresh fruit, with locally grown bananas kept us supplied all week and was greatly appreciated. We've stayed in properties all around the world but were very impressed on arriving at Villa Mar Lindo. The 10 metres heated pool and the stunning view topped it off. It's a very comfortable, generally well equipped property. We enjoyed our stay there... lots of interesting places to visit within an easy drive. The owner is very responsive to questions and seems genuinely interested in his guests enjoying their stay.

The interior was modern and spotless with all amenities thought of. The check in and out was brilliant, we were met by Sidonia from ‘A Home in Madeira’. During our stay we also met the owner who was very pleased to meet with us. The hot tub and BBQ area was a fantastic bonus. We were provided with several towels, beach towels, toilet rolls, a wonderful bottle of wine & some cake! It’s way more spacious than I had thought from the pictures so that’s definitely a bonus too! We could see the sunset from the (two!) terraces. We will definitely be booking this lovely villa the next time we visit Madeira. obrigado!
