Juan and Cátia are the friendliest and most generous of hosts. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The property sits on a steep slope - like almost every property in Madeira - with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and the village of Ponta do Sol below. The house is very comfortable and quiet. It is well equipped for cooking. It has a Jacuzzi on the terrace. We spent hours reading on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Restaurants and a small supermarket are within walking distance. If you want to explore the island you need a car. We had decided not to rent a car and made many walks in the surroundings of Ponta do Sol. We had one of the most relaxed holidays we had in a long time. We would not hesitate to stay with Juan and Cátia again.

Well looked after property, warm welcome, super nice apartment with everything you needed and if you need something the super nice stuff helped you out in a couple of minutes and solved all your problems ( well actually there were no real problems we just missed a cutting board) the kitchen was super equipped everything you need to cook. Super clean and nice pool area. The location is perfect to discover all of the beautiful island of Madeira. Funchal is super close and easy to reach and the airport is just 30 min by car easy reachable. only thing you need to know is that the ensuit bathroom does not come with a door to close. if you are traveling as a couple like in our case not a problem but maybe good to know if you travel with a colleague from work 😉

This is a beautiful villa which has every amenity you could want and is almost brand new. The setting looking out over the pool to the sea is amazing - we were just a couple but the property would suit a family with three decent sized bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. Best accomodation in the whole isle. Best holiday ever. Beautiful house, heated swimming pool (28C) with a breathtaking stunning view to the ocean and beneath surrounded with the banana trees. Well-equipped house, from the bath towels to the salt everything is in its place, all with the latest design with impaccable taste and furnished with the highest comfort. Very nice heart-warming welcome present from the owners.

Worth mentioning is a very comfortable bed in the main bedroom (as this was often an issue in other holiday homes I rented in the past). Parking on a very quiet street just outside the house. I highly recommend this place, but you should have a car as it is quite far from the "city".

The interior was modern and spotless with all amenities thought of. The check in and out was brilliant, we were met by Sidonia from ‘A Home in Madeira’. During our stay we also met the owner who was very pleased to meet with us. The hot tub and BBQ area was a fantastic bonus.
