I liked everything about Fathala Wildlife Reserve. The tented room was large, quiet, clean and very comfortable. The A/C worked well, and I paid for a router in the room to have excellent WiFi connections. I loved the outdoor shower, and the peace and serenity of the setting.

The hosts are wonderful people, we felt so welcome! Also they were very helpful to find where we could get some good food in the village and what to do besides the near Fathala Wildlife Reserve. Only 4 rooms, so small scale personalized operation, and excellent home cooking! Good interaction with locals in the village.

Rooms are totally comfortable and nicely designed, and the meal that I ate here was excellent. I only stayed two nights, but would have been happy to stay on an another to take a tour through the mangroves. The owners Celine and Gilles were very friendly and it was great to speak with them over dinner. The guest house is on the outskirts of a very small village, with little to do. There are two larger hotels, which offer some activities and tours, but we simply payed for a bed to sleep in, and got nothing more.

They organized two unforgettable tours with the great guide Doudou, who knew almost every animal and tree. Every evening there was a really delicious three-course menu and it was particularly great that we ate together with the hosts and learned a lot about the village. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We could have stayed much longer and done one of the exciting activities every day!CarolinYoung couple
