Had the best time at Tarawanda House. Not just absolutely stylish, super clean, great located and comfy mattresses… also an absolute warm welcome and felt home by the first minute. Alex and his team are super helpful and just lovely. They keep a family vibe which is amazing especially for solo travelers. You can easy get in contact with other travelers while having breakfast at a big table or while chilling in the comfy social areas. Breakfast changes all the time and is super delicious. Would definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone.

We stayed twice in this very nice guesthouse in the middle of Stonetown. The rooms and private bathroom are basic, comfortable and clean. You eat your breakfast, that comes with fresh fruit, on the rooftop terrace. The owner is very helpful and tries to do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You also can arrange your tours here, they are of great value. The location is ideal. No cars around, close to the old slave market and the food market. If you visit Stonetown, we can definitely recommend this place!
