This is truly a place you will call home immediately. The house is built and decorated to perfection and would make an awesome fit for the Netflix series "the world's most amazing vacation rentals". The architecture combines inside and outside with an outdoor kitchen and various seating areas. Enjoy the hummingbirds, tukans and the beautiful jungle around you. You have a private riverside seating area as well with the option to swim. Two cute dogs will welcome you in the morning and when you return from a tour or dinner. Ant it comes with lots of extras: strong wifi, washing machine and dryer, super comfy towels, a hammock, many kitchen devices. The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. If you are in this region and the cabine is available, book it!

The location is very walkable to all the good spots in town (we even walked to Cahal Pech), our room was very comfortable with an outdoor patio, and Ani and Seleni were so delightful, helpful, and fun to chat with. You can even grab coffee, fruit, and toast there in the morning. We definitely recommend this guesthouse!

Hummingbirds on your patio are a great way to wake up and go to sleep. The locations close to town but not too close. We had a rental car and felt the vehicle was safe from both other traffic and people. There are multiple places for food or if you want to cook the cabins have a full cooking setup. Excellent! Also check out the grounds and admire all the hard work put into creating this hummingbird haven.

Stayed for few days. Close to the home builders (Pletts, Premier and Linda Vista), Mayan ruins and San Ignacio. Very secure, beautiful grounds, and very gracious hosts. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Forgot my charger plug and they were able to provide one. Excellent coffee with a French press each morning. Great suggestions for things to do in the area.

The view from both the villas and the roof top villa is exceptional. We stayed four nights in the roof top suite. When we decided to book our flight two days later than planned, Virginia was able to get us into one of her four villas detached from the main house. Both are excellent accommodations. The owner is very accommodating at booking tours, arranging transportation to and from town, and providing a breakfast service. You will be glad you made this choice.

Nestled in the Belize jungle, Mariposa Jungle Lodge offers six comfortable cabanas, a luxury suite and 2 bungalows, a nature trail and an outdoor pool with a slate waterfall. The property is set up to give you privacy. The cabanas are lovely and ours had a little deck with a hammock that was great for reading and relaxing. There is a nice pool area with ping-pong and other games nearby, and there are some nice walking trails through the jungle. Above all, the staff was exceptional. They were able to accommodate our request for vegan food and the food they made was delicious. They were also helpful in setting everything up for our tours, prepping us for our outings, and basically helping us in every way. Truly amazing people.
