Secluded yet safe in the jungle, this perfectly appointed house has all the amenities- comfortable beds, mosquito nets, great lounging areas and then.. the best of all.. a gorgeous pool where we saw monkeys playing overhead, not to mention the macaws and toucans. From the river side lookout deck we could watch the gold miners on their morning trek up the river searching for treasure. The grounds are beautiful with pineapple, avocado, lime and banana trees. Val and Ron are amazing hosts who made sure the Yeti cooler had blocks of ice to keep our food cold. Coming from the city it was incredible to realize how easy it is to live off the grid. The solar panels provided enough power to charge our phones and have light in the evening. We had amazing adventures walking to the nearby waterfall, walking up the river and exploring the Bolita trails. There are a couple of very cute and harmless bats in the guest bedroom who left each evening before we went to bed, returning home in the morning. The windows have no screens or glass so you really feel you are living in the jungle but there was a surprising lack of biting insects. This really is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the jungle- the best high end “glamping” I have ever experienced.

Set in Dos Brazos, in a property dating from 2018, Yejos features barbecue facilities and common space with free WiFi. The owner Josh is a super-kind American dude who is always ready to help or advise. Great time and adventures partly with local guides we had at Dos Brazos.

Los Mineros Guesthouse is located in Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 50m from Corcovado National Park entrance and 13 km from Puerto Jiménez. It is set in beautiful gardens which can be seen from the rooms.... I really liked this place. The environment, contact with nature and Channy's attention. I recommend taking the tours they offer, you won't regret it. Overall it was a fantastic experience. We cannot forget that we are in the jungle and don't have the comfort of a hotel and.. many good things are happening :)

Situated in front of the school, El Manantial de Corcovado provides a garden and terrace. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The accommodation offers free WiFi. We stayed 4 nights at the end of june in el manantial and had a really good stay. The cabina has air-con, what was great, it is clean and had enough space for our little family. It is located  in the center of Dos Brazos near to the school, tourism office and a little shop (maybe you better should bring fresh veggies or fruits from Puerto Jimenez). We did some hikes in Bolita Rainforest and booked a night hiking with Kerley, we saw a lot of animals - we recommend both!
