We also liked that the toilet was separate from the bathroom. Oh and good selection of local dishes in the comfortable restaurant. Where the seats were covered with soft blankets or woolen fleece. Very nice touch in an already pleasant environment.

A supermarket right next door. Stations where you can take the free shuttle bus to the slopes right across the street. Also only a short (7 minute) walk from the main bus station in case you are coming by bus from Prague. Really can't beat the location. Breakfast was rich and good, included everything from fruits and vegetables to eggs, meats and pastries. Room itself was also very nice, seems newly renovated, high speed WiFi, great views of the town and always had hot water.

Chalets & Apartments - Base Camp Medvědín offers a barbecue. Very friendly staff, who helped us to change our original request for an apartment to a chalet. The chalet itself was equipped well, just what you expect from a "base camp" for walking trips to the surrounding valleys and hills. The location is very good if you don't aim to use car to move around (as we did). You can start and end your walking trips right there, or take a bus to the Spindlerova Bouda pass.
