Lovely quiet area, great for walks, treks. local pub was walking distance. nearest village was 5km, great for a nature break away. Cabin had everything. Maggie, the host was very helpful.
Lovely little village and excellent accommodations and location. Breakfast included and is incredible.
Nice location and nice village hotel has an interesting history
Our host Eileen looked after us wonderfully. The room was lovely and the home was close to the village….. an easy walk.
Characterful old building, with secure parking, in centre of village. Exceptionally clean. Crisp fresh linen, spacious bedroom, piping hot shower. Lovely Cooked breakfast. + chatty, hard working and helpful owner.
Fascinating conversion of old Munster and Leinster Bank with each bedroom labelled with banking function. We were in Treasury.. Delightd that a bath was in the bathroom and not just a shower. Very comfortable but did not stay for breakfast. Bruff is a very interesting village where JFK's grandmother Rose FitzGerald was born. Location excellent for visit to Lough Gur , a major archaeological site where people have lived for over 6,000 years with excellent visitor's Centre
Location of hotel is great for travelling but the town itself is very run down and there is nothing there. Staff at hotel were wonderful and food in the restaurant was excellent value for money and portions. Room was spotless and lovely furnishings. Very comfortable just a shame about the area. We had our food on the Saturday and Sunday in the neighbouring village of Adare.
The barfood and breakfast buffet were excellent. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The hotel has lots of character and old world charm. There is lots to see in the village of Adare and it makes a very convenient stopover on the route to West Kerry.
From the moment I entered Park Lodge, I felt at home. Grace welcomed me like an old friend and shared a cuppa and fresh cake from the local bakery. She went over and above to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The room was spacious and well lit, beautiful decor, with a very comfortable bed. A selection of pillows on the bed allowed me to choose just the right one! Breakfast was filling and delicious. There was ample parking for my hire car, with easy access to the main road of the village. Highly recommended.
