The "social room" had a fridge, microwave and food and drinks and Netflix and an interesting view on the main street of the village. The host thought of all necessities and details (even tooth paste). I liked her straight and open way of communication and can recommend this guesthouse without hasitation.

Loved EVERYTHING! Personally I never leave reviews on places but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to leave a good review here. Best place I’ve ever stayed, better than any hotel experience ever. Location was amazing we went only a few minutes into Kilmacthomas for food and less than 20 mins to dungarvan the next day! Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and the facilities were top notch! The pods were amazing, spotless, and so comfy. The country spa was so relaxing we caught ourselves almost drifting to sleep in the sauna! Ended the night with a few drinks by the gorgeous fire pits. Couldn’t recommend the place enough and were already planning our next stay! Thank you to Tracy and Padraig!

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at - a huge, clean, beautifully furnitured room and bath, with huge windows towards the countryside, with an exceptional breakfast and a very cosy host. If you are somewhere between Cork and Dublin and like nature and quietness, this is where you should stay!

John the host was friendly, offered to collect us from the bus stop and showed us the best places to eat.

Ruth (and Milo) was a fantastic host and was very helpful in sharing tips and walking/hiking routes. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and you would have the space to cook as well. The cabin and its amenities were clean and very comfortable. Will be back the next time!

This was our fourth visit and we’ll be back again. We highly recommend this cottage and Eileen is so lovely to deal with. A welcome pack is left for visitors which is a real treat especially if you’ve been travelling.
