The location is great. This hotel is in the Minatomirai area, which is where most attractions lie. You can walk to some beautiful parks, museums, shops and views of the bay very easily. There is a metro station right outside, and another JR line station is 10 minutes away on foot. A great supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops can also easily be found in the first floor of the building. Speaking of which, this hotel has simply stunning views. It doesn't really matter which direction your room is facing. At 47 stories high (at least), looking outside your room feels awe-inducing. If you're lucky, you will get a nice view to Mount Fuji as well! I believe this may be the second tallest building in Yokohama, and it definitely is top 30 in the entire country at 250 meters high. The staff is great, lounge is really classy and placed right in the middle of an actual observation deck (underrated though, so not crowded at all). Rooms are super spacious for Japanese standards, and of excellent build quality. Room cleaning is thorough and suited to your schedule, at least in my experience. Bed is super comfortable, and the desk is great for working a bit in your laptop if you need to edit photos or send emails.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The accommodation features a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. It felt like 5* hotel! Truly an experience! Would stay def more nights!

At the guest house guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot spring bath. Guests at Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- will be able to enjoy activities in and around Gora, like hiking. I liked that there were signs when traveling to let us know where the hotel was located. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Our room was amazing, I enjoyed the amount of space and amenities that came with it. Onsen was a great bonus. Staff were exceptional and courteous. Breakfast was also a big plus, especially eating in the lounge/food area.

Spaceous room. You have yukatas which can be weared everywhere in the hotel (even at dinner!), a pair of Japanese socks and a cute tea set in the rooms. Comfortable fouton beds and pillows. Dinner is a special Japanese experience - do not miss it!!! Very tasty and with an exceptional attentive service! Breakfast is also good in the same stile (although not as good as dinner;-)). Public onsens are seperate: 1 for men and 1 for women. Both look the same and have one inside and one outside baths. There are 2 small "family" onsens also with small inside baths only; and 3 very small private onsens which can be booked. Overall it is a very nice SPA hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there!

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 3.6 km of Kowakudani Station. The property has mountain and quiet street views, and is 4.6 km from Hakone Open-Air Museum. The accommodation features a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. I got lucky with the room because I had a vending machine with beer right next to my door. The location is good, not far from bus/train stations, but it might be a bit inconvenient if you have suitcases since the road from the stations is quite busy and doesn’t have pedestrian area. For me it wasn’t an issue since I had only a backpack. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were super friendly. Amazing outdoor onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

It is situated 20 km from Sankeien and provides a shared kitchen. The homestay features family rooms. Kimie-san is the most wonderful, warm host I’ve ever met! Her breakfasts are so yummy and filled me up for the whole day! The room was very comfortable and I loved the view of the river! Meeting Kimie-san is so worth the stay!

The ryokan has a hot spring bath and full-day security. The ryokan is up the mountain but they will provide you pick up and drop off service daily. Room is clean, well equipped and upscale. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. I spent 2 nights here. The private open air bath is really nice. Would stay here again if I am in the area.
