Located in Gojō, お宿さつき奈良五條 is a recently renovated accommodation, 29 km from Subaru Hall and 37 km from Tanpi Shrine. This guest house provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Best host ever! Shogo made so many excellent suggestions that Gojo became one of our favorite stops on a multi-week Japanese visit. His accommodation, in an atmospheric, traditional part of town, was clean, well organized and super comfortable. Our room on the second floor had a fabulous view out to the mountains that was a joy to wake up to. The shared kitchen downstairs had everything we needed for eating in or making coffee. The river walk park was a great way to get up or gear down every day. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Shogo, for a wonderful stay.

Renovating a Japanese-style private house with a 100-year history, Guesthouse Tamura offers an accommodation in Fushigazushi-cho, Nara. Kintetsu Nara Station is a 13-minute walk away, while Kasuga Taisha Shrine is a 20-minute stroll. Excellent experience, very humble and cooperative staff. .

A 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, Guest House Oku is located a 15-minute walk from JR Nara station. Guest House Oku features a total of 3 guest rooms and free WiFi throughout the property.

All rooms come with air conditioning. A shared toilet and shower is available for guests. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re a solo traveler. The host is super nice and supportive. I felt very welcome when I was here. The bed is spacious and comfortable.

It features free Wi-Fi, a launderette and free parking. Thank you very much for the kind welcome! We really enjoyed our stay here, the beds were particularly comfortable and we adored the kotatsu, looking into buying one in the future hahaha. The breakfast was fab, really appreciated the more traditional Japanese breakfast! Also thanks so much for bringing us our forgotten items after we had left for a few minutes, our forgetful selves are very appreciative! :)

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Parking is available at extra charge. WiFi is available in all guest rooms. Unique experience! Totally fine for a solo traveller. Rooms are tatami+futon and absolutely huge. There's a communal bath that is very good. Food was also very nice.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public baths. The spacious Japanese and Western rooms have free WiFi. The location is excellent. Great starting place to walk anywhere in the area and visit all sites. The onsen is super and very relaxing. Free coffee and drinks in the lobby at all hours, restaurant onsite, and a communal sitting area are nice too.

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Each guest room has a Japanese-style decor and offer panoramic forest views, traditional tatami (woven-straw) floors, and shoji paper screens. We were impressed by the location and the overall facilities and decor of the place

The 100-year old Guesthouse Naramachi offers simple Japanese-style accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyobate Train Station. The property is completely non-smoking. It offers massages, bicycle rental and free Wi-Fi throughout. The World Heritage registered Nara Park is a 10-minute walk away. very clean, Family-like, well equipped, beautiful house
